Charles is a Certified Pool Inspector and Certified Pool Operator with the National Swimming Pool Foundation.

 

The NSPF was formed in January 1965, as a non-profit foundation to perform education and research.  Today, their mission is to encourage healthier living through aquatic education and research.  The Certified Pool-Spa Operator (CPO) program, which was introduced by NSPF in 1972, delivers more training than any other program in the pool and spa industry.

 

The popularity and growth of swimming pools has not been without challenges.  The need for safety and the proper operation and maintenance of swimming pools has become painfully evident.  Although other national organizations have advocated education and research, none has elevated as many professionals as the National Swimming Pool Foundation (NSPF).
